What is Qigong

Qigong was developed in China thousands of years ago, it is a branch of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Qi means life force energy and gong means work, cultivate or skilful. Therefore, Qigong means to cultivate life force energy.

We are made of energy and everything in life is energy. Every activity, every thought, every emotion requires energy. When our energy is used up, we feel tired, depleted or exhausted. Just like our phone or devices at home needs electricity to charge. This electricity that’s running through our system is the energy that keeps us alive. It is our life force that drives us to do everything we do and create our reality. It is therefore essential to learn to cultivate and nourish your energy through the medical and energetic practice of Qigong.

Carol teaches the Six Phases of Qigong Flow from the YOQI method to attune, purge, tonify, grow, circulate and integrate your energy through breath, intention and movement to guide and direct the energy flow. Qigong mirrors the movement of nature, and the energy of nature is always in effortless flow as it follows the natural rhythm of the seasons. When we align with the energy of nature, we align with our own energy which brings us home to wholeness. We are nature and nature is within us. Follow the flow of nature, and allow life to flow through you.
