Qigong Introductory Series (4 Weeks)

Qigong introductory series are weekly classes focusing on introducing the practice of Qigong and the benefits of cultivating energy to bring balance into the mind and body. We will focus on the different aspects of Qigong including building awareness of the breath, slow and mindful movements, cultivation of the mind, and circulating energy within the body. It is a standing Qigong practice, so be prepared to stand for 45 minutes (very good to build strength in the legs), and at the end, we will sit for about 15 minutes for meditation.

This is the week-by-week focus:
Week 1: Cleanse your energy (Mar 6)
Week 2: Connect to your own energy (Mar 13)
Week 3: Charge up your energy (Mar 20)
Week 4: Conserve your energy (Mar 27)

It is ideal to attend all as each week build from the previous, however, you can also attend any class to learn more about that particular aspect of working with your energy for healing.

What you need: Yourself and an open heart and mind to receive the practice. Wear loose comfortable clothing and bring a bottle of water (so we can charge our water at the end of the practice). Bolster is supplied.
